London’s Homeless
1993 – 2003
After obtaining her BSc in Art History and Psychology from Oxford Polytechnic in the 70s, Nim returned to the UK yet again in the early 90s to pursue her postgraduate studies. This time she studied in London, a city to which she formed a strong affinity. In London, she could indulge in contemplation and break away from her previous methods of art-making. Her proposed area of study was “Art Against War and the Creative Process”. She made prints of the homeless citizens she encountered around her area, she kept warm against the cold, and she did not miss home much.
